When were Fiat in the U.S. auto market?
Is there a year or a date in where Fiat just enter the U.S. auto market? When did they close their dealership?
What other brands of car did they sell in the U.S. from when to the end or what brands do they sell starting from when?
Since,I know that they own Ferrari, but I don’t know when they start selling those in the U.S.!
i don’t think that the actual fiat brand was ever marketed in the us as i don’t think the americans would like there styling and they are compact economical car built for the roads in southern europe however they did sell alfa Romeo and still sell Lamborghini and ferrari and they have started to market the new fiat 500 top gear did a road test on ferrari and Lamborghini last year in italy and couldn,t get them out of the car park because they were to low for the roads

I don’t know when FIAT entered the U.S. market but they left in 1983. The last FIAT was the X1/9 sports car. Alfa Romeo was in the U.S. up to about 1990-91 in believe. I suggest Goolging this question for a more accurate answer.

From my understanding Fiat at one point had a factory in Pekipsi New York in the post world war I time frame which closed soon after wards.
The second coming to my knowledge was in the 1969-1983 time frame most of the cars they built were basically flops the exception were the Spider versions. My family had a Spider until it got t-boned by a BMW in 1992. IMHO had Fiat focused on the spider while designing a car for the US market
