I am replacing a catalytic converter at Toyota with a toyota part - what is the warranty on it - is it suppose
I am replacing a Toyota Catalytic converter with a real Toyota Part at the dealership - what is the warranty supposed to be on the REPLACEMENT PART - is it supposed to be either 50,000 or 5 years? Please also mention whether it is federally mandated to be 50,000 or 5 years. I can’t imagine why aftermarket parts would have that warranty but an Original Toyota part wouldn’t have that same warranty - it is better than the after-market part.
I am not asking about the original catalytic converter - I am asking about the warranty on a replacement catalytic converter which is not covered by the 80K/ 8 year rule. I am wondering if it is 50k/5 year for REPLACEMENT Converter
