After Market Extreme

If I get an aftermarket stereo for my trailblazer LTZ, is there any way to keep the back seat radio working? In mine you can tune in a different station or cd than what the people in the front seats are listening to. It doesn’t seem like that would work anymore if I got a aftermarket radio. Also, if I keep my stock radio and just wire a line-level converter in so I can use my amp and sub, does it sound crappy since you can control the sub from the radio the way you can with an after market radio? Thanks!
